ATTY. GABRIEL PAOLO L. DE GUZMAN joined the Law Firm of Villanueva Gabionza & Dy on 08 July 2014 after working with the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (Philippines) on the Pilot Automated Case Management System (eCourt) in the Metropolitan and Regional Trial Courts of Quezon City.

       He is a Member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines and works with the Legal Aid Committee of the Makati Chapter to extend efficient legal assistance to indigent litigants, particularly those involving immediate deprivation of liberty and property of said litigants.

       He currently serves as Assistant Corporate Secretary of the Makati Commercial Estate Association, Inc. and of the Makati Parking Authority, Inc.

       He obtained his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree in Management Major in Communications Technology Management from the John Gokongwei School of Management of the Ateneo De Manila University in 2009, and his Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree from the Ateneo De Manila University School of Law in 2013. He sat for the Philippine Bar Examinations in October 2013 and was admitted to the bar on May 2014.

       He was a member of the Board of Editors of the Ateneo Law Journal (2011-2013), where he was the Associate Lead Editor for Vol. 56-3, December 2011 (Marking a Milestone: Developments and Challenges in the Legal Profession and Judiciary) and was head of various committees.

      He also served as a Research Assistant to Atty. Ferdinand M. Negre for his Casebook on Copyright and Related Rights.

            He served as a Legal Intern in the Zambrano & Gruba Law Offices (2012) and Britanico Sarmiento & Ringler Law Offices (2011).
